This is our Norah! Born wednesday night, 6 lbs 1 oz, 19 inches! We are loving her and are enjoying lots of snuggle time! Evi has been really sweet with her new sister! Hopefully I can figure out how to take care of two cute girls! We are so blessed and lucky to have them!

Yes, I know I have been a horrible blogger. . . We have been so busy around here. Competition season has started so I have been really busy with dance. I am in the middle of spring semester right now so I have school to worry about also. Collin is staying busy with work and is getting so excited for golf season to start. And did I mention we have crazy Evi to chase after, She is getting so big and talking so much. We love her to pieces and we are just trying to enjoy every new thing she does. She frequently comes with me to the studio and she has now started to copy the dancers. She has been caught doing a bit of her own choreography and floor work and she has also attempted to do a few crunches.:) Hmmm I wonder what she is going to do when she gets bigger? I am excited for the summer we are going to sign up for a mommy and me gymnastics class and her and Collin are going to do swim lessons together! We also bought a house in Roy in December just in time for Christmas. So we are busy but so so good! Hope everyone else is doing just as good! Congrats to all the new mommies!! Loves to everyone. . .

Finger Painting!!

She loves to finger paint, there is just something about making messes that Evi thinks is just great fun. She would paint for a minute then stop and look at her hands (she doesn't like when her hands are dirty) but then she would return to her masterpiece.

Yes she did get it all over the floor but that is the beauty of washable paint! It is hard to find projects for little ones but this is a fun one we will do often as long as we are up for a mess. I had to put this one it it was just so funny. She had paint all up her nose form this one.

Time for a bath.

In the car all excited to go to the Cornmaze and pumpkin patch. We went to the Black Island Farms. We first wanted to go to Thanksgiving point but didn't want to make the drive and I am so glad because this one was so much fun and perfect for her.

In the corn maze. Luckily they have an easy side and a hard side so we went for the easy one and found our way out pretty quickly. I was just worried it would start getting dark before we made it out.

They had a little tunnel for the little ones to walk through and she loved it. We had a hard time getting her out and I don't know why but she loves sticks and so she loved all the stuff on the ground.

We finally picked one out. We didn't let her down too much in the pumpkin patch because it was so dirty and stinky and I was so smart and had her wearing white baby legs.

We had a good time we will definitely be going back next year!

She was such a good little helper. She helped scoop out the seeds for about 15 minutes and then she sat and played with it.

Evi loved it. We went outside everyday to look and play with the pumpkin. I love doing new things with her it's like you get to experience it all over again.

Happy Birthday to Brandi! For Brandi's Birthday we went to the Gateway and had lunch at CPK and did a little shopping. We had such a fun time. We get so silly when we are together especially when we are tired!

For those of you that don't know my mom's birthday is on Halloween so she never really gets to have a birthday. So this year we had a surprise party for her.

I think she was excited. The day before I told her that we were going to Idaho so she would think I was mean for not hanging out with her and everyone else had a similar situation where they were doing something else. It was pretty funny. Love ya Mom!

I know I have been a really bad blogger lately but I have been super busy; and to be honest I don't really care about blogging right now. I'm sure I'll get over it and get posting! Evi is getting bigger by the minute and she is talking and learning new words like crazy. She can make a lot of animal noises (I have been trying to get it on video but for some reason she is camera shy). I have been super busy. I am taking three classes online, at this rate I will graduate in approximately 50 years. I teach dance three nights a week! And I have a super energetic 15 month old that now only takes one nap. Collin is working working working and will be leaving me and Evi to go on a business trip to Prague for a week and a day! Well there you have it there is our update! Hope all is well with everyone else! P.S. I am so excited for Fall.

Our Hotel. Villa Del Arco! I know this picture is blurry but our hotel was awesome! Great swimming pools, restaurants and best of all right on the beach!

No that couple is not us; Just ignore them:) The crazy beautiful ocean. Me and Collin totally Kayaked all the way over to the little beach in between the rocks. .. (Go us) Also known as Lovers Beach. It is really cool; On one side of the beach is the Atlantic Ocean and the other side is the Pacific Ocean. The waves one the Pacific side were enormous and fierce. You aren't allowed to swim in it but some local teenage boy were attempting to surf in it. . .Crazy!

Oh how I love the beach at night, almost as much as I love Collin!

On the Beach! We had so much fun but we were really bad at taking pictures. We went parisailing together one day, we rented a jet ski and if any of you have ever done that on the ocean you will know how crazy fun it is. Not only is the water ridiculously choppy with enormous waves but every time you land a big wave the salt water sprays into your face and you get temporarily blinded! SO fun!! We went to some fun restaurants in town and I'm not gonna lie I was scared to death of eating the authentic Mexican food I didn't want to get sick! I can tell you that we made it through our trip with only a few minor digestive trouble! Thanks to our wonderful moms that loved and took care of our Evi!!

This is our girl! We love her so much nad can't believe she is getting so big! My nine favorite things about Evi. . . 1-She gives the best loves, so good that with one arm she reaches around and pulls my hair and with the other arm she reaches around and either pulls the skin on my neck or pats me on the shoulder. Maybe not the softest snuggle but i sure love it. She also squishes her face into mine and talks! 2-She is such a good eater. Everything we throw at her she will eat except for two things. . . butternut squash and kiwis. 3-When she wakes up in the morning sometimes i will bring her into bed with me and she has to snuggle right up next to me and pat my face and hiss through her binky! 4-She whispers. so cute! 5-She gets so excited when Collin comes home and if he doesn't hold her right away she gets mad! 6-When she gets really excited she screams! 7-I love her big blue eyes! 8- I love how when she smiles really big she crinckles up her nose! 9-She likes tags. On her bear there is a long tag on the back of the bear and she will flip the bear over and play with the tag! Pretty much we just love her so much and can't imagine our lives without her!!

We went to Idaho for Easter weekend! It was so nice to just get away for a while we have been so busy! We just relaxed and had some well needed family time! The only bad thing about the weekend is that Evi decided she didn't want to sleep. The only way I could get her to sleep was to have her sleep right next to me all snuggled in. She loved the dogs and the colored eggs but her favorite thing was Grandma Searle's plant. She kept crawling over to it and pulling on the branches. . . so silly!

I inherited this picture from my grandma and just hung it on my wall a week ago. It's so amazing to me that someone I have never met can have such an impact on my life. I am so sad. . . I know that the next prophet will be just as amazing. But in the midst of this horrible world I found comfort in knowing that he was here leading our church and showing us the way. In some small way I feel lost with out him. I love that every time I see his face you can feel the love of Christ shine through. I just hope that I can be a fraction of the person he was and still is. Thank you for your unwavering faith and Christlike example President Hinckley!

How cute is she. . . I just love her so much.

I know you are wondering why I would post this picture but it was one of the funniest things that I have witnessed in a long time. . . This is Aubrey and Sarah they were reinacting the picture painted on the wall but they had to climb onto rolled up wrestling mats to get up there. We were all in tears laughing. It reminds me of how silly I was in high school and how much fun I had. Even though most of the silly things me and my friends would do involved the movie Drop Dead Gorgeous. Anyway it was so funny. I love these silly girls!

I know what you are thinking. . . It's already January 12 and you are just posting Christmas pictures. I am so bad but too busy to care. Christmas was so much fun with Evi and I'm sure it will only get better the next few years. I only have one complaint. . . I wish that Christmas break could last for a month. It is so nice to spend time with my little family. Life is so busy these days we are lucky to have a weekend that is not full of things to do. If it's not a dance competition then its a dance rehearsal and if not then it's something else. Thank heaven for Sundays!!

Evi's favorite thing about Christams wasn't the presents it was the wrapping paper, the Christmas tree lights and this little yellow measuring cup. Honestly why does she have toys if she is as entertained with a measuring cup or a dvd case. What a funny girl.

The bumbo is the recliner for babies. It's soft and squishy and Evi seems to really enjoy it. She is also in love with all of my mom' s Halloween decorations. Her favorites are a pumpkin that laughs and says happy Halloween, a raggedy andy doll dressed in a vampire costume and pretty much everything that's bright or makes noise. Whatever keeps them entertained right!! Well we officially have two days until Collin comes home and we are getting so excited. I have his picture on the computer and I show Evi and say "Look there's daddy!" and she smiles and talks to him. It's so cute. We have missed him. Can friday please come faster!!!

This afternoon we decided to go on a family outing. Since the trees are so pretty right now we went on a hike! It was a perfect day. We had a good time and I know Evi loved all the colors.

I know these carriers are kind of goofy but they are really convenient. Evi loved it as you can see! Or at least she loved sucking on it!

I love the fall so much. I think it is a combination of the cool weather (I hate the heat of the summer!) and the colors. I love the changing leaves so much. It makes me feel bad for people who live where there are no mountains. They don't get to see how beautiful they become. The only downside to fall is that it leaves as quickly as it comes.

I love this picture!! She is just starting to hold on to things. It's so cute but we are now realizing the task ahead of baby-proofing everything!

This past week Evi had two doctors appointments. Monday we went to the pediatrician and she had to get her two month shots:( It was horrible she screamed and screamed. Then when I picked her up she whimpered (which I think is worse then the screaming). She was fussy all day and that was also the first day I had to leave her to teach dance. Needless to say it was a hard day for us. . . Then we had to go to Primary Children's Hospital on Friday to see an Orthopedic surgeon. When she was born her right foot was flexed flat up against her shin and yes I was freaked out at first. We have been stretching it ever since and it is getting better! The doctor said there is nothing to worry about and that she will be fine!! This doctors visit was much better than the first. On Friday we also took Evi to Collin's work to meet everyone. She kindly waited to go #2 until Collin's boss was holding her! Oops! They loved her anyway! It has been a busy week I started back teaching three nights a week. I have really missed it and it was fun to be back. But I was sad to leave my baby! Although I'm sure it was good for her and Collin to have some daddy daughter time; and I am lucky that I have a mom and three sisters that are always willing to watch her. Thanks guys!! Well that was our week I hope everyone else had an eventful one.

Evi's Special Day

We went to Idaho this weekend to bless Evi! It was such a special day for us; all of our family was able to be there. My family got lost on the way there and barely made it. It was a little stressful for a minute there but they made it and Evi didn't cry during the blessing! That's all I can ask for. It was one of the best days we have had as a new family!!

Can you believe that her dress is 23 years old? It was my blessing dress! I am so glad that my mom saved it and took such good care of it. I just added a few rhinestones to jazz it up a little. Collin didn't want her to wear the bonnet that went with it; he thought she looked like a pioneer! :) So we made her a headband instead!

Look at all my bracelets. . . I am just like Grandpa Russ. We were trying them on to actually see if any of them fit and I thought of my dad. It's crazy that two weeks ago none of the bracelets would fit, now two of them fit her. She is already getting big to me.

Cousins!! Xander is so sweet with Evi. He loves to kiss her and "pet" her. He wouldn't smile for us in the picture, but he was having a pretty good time.

We were so glad that Great Grandma and Grandpa Searle came down for a visit. Grandma Searle snuggled her for about two hours. You can tell Evi loves them already. Thanks for the cutest blankets Grandma!! We will see you in a couple weeks.

Evi is so popular, she had so many visitors over the weekend. Mauri, Carlee and grandma came to visit. Sometimes I think Evi looks a little like Mauri.

Evi and grandma Julie. She stops by almost everyday after school to check on us. What a good grandma.

This was Evis first time in her swing. (thanks mom for getting it for her). She liked it this time but I put her in it yesterday and she wouldn't have it so we will see. I think I have spoiled her already she likes to sleep while being held the best, oh well I love it.

This is the cutest dress ever. Thanks to Jayci for getting it for Evi. We had to pin it in the back because it is still a little big for her even though it is size newborn/preemie! Also over the weekend grandma searle and aunt Kailey came to visit and we forgot to get pictures; but we loved having them and hope they will come stay again soon, and I know Evi is excited to see her grandpa searle again. I love this picture. She has really big feet compared to the rest of her body; maybe she'll end up being tall like her dad. (but hopefully not as tall!)

Look at these big eyes. We were lucky to catch them she is pretty much asleep all day. We love when she is awake.

We are going to take her picture next to this bear every month to see how big she is getting and this was her first one.
